The Kingship of Christ is intrinsically and ontologically substantial with his Sovereignty which is in his Lordship and a way of reigning. His reigning implies winning, ransom and compassionate act or redemption. Could there be these attributes without the basic concept of service? Christ came not to be served but to serve. Let us with joy, celebrating the Solemnity of Christ the King ponder thus:

C – CHRIST is eternally King of peace, Melchizedek.

H – HOLINESS  is primarily Christ’s nature.

R – REDEMPTION of humanity is Christ’s Lordship.

I – INCARNATION is divine start of Kingship.

S – SOTERIOLOGY has a Kingly undertone.

T – TRINITARIAN Love is a mystery.

T – TOTALITY of two natures, is evident in Christ.

H – HUMANITY of Christ shows his Sonship.

E – EUCHARISTIC nature portrays the divine friendship of Christ.

K – KENOSIS is a form of Christ-like sacrifice.

I – INSTITUTION of the Sacraments is a way of kingship continuity and ever presence of Christ among us.

N – NATIVITY of Christ opened a horizon for our being adopted children of God.

Thanks so much CHINASA JACINTA for this awareness and thought provoking questions. May the Name of the Lord be praised for ever, Amen. Let me begin by the significant of your names: CHINASA – CHUKWU NA ASA that is IT IS GOD THAT ANSWERS and JACINTA which in Greek the meaning of the name is: Beautiful. Jacinth is derived from the name of a precious stone. This name is also related to the Greek flower name for hyacinth. In Spanish the meaning of the name Jacinta is: Hyacinth or purple. From your names you are really a Christian which implies a disciples or one who follows the teachings of Christ. Following Christ implies that we ought to imitate him hence the Word of God implores us to be doers of the Word and not only listeners cfr. James 1:22-26. Therefore:

Therefore, the question who is the worst is a moral can justice question that is rooted in spiritual relationship which ought to exist within our lives as Christian. The three questions are because of promiscuity which goes back to moral debasement in all forms. By our nature and gift of handsomeness and beauty, when we (men and women, boys and girls) are relationship, we ought to be careful not to indulge into and form of licentiousness, even when we think nobody is seeing us, therefore the issue of virginity preservation in girls and boys is what suppose to preoccupy all. Therefore, ask yourself sincerely are you a virgin? Is the question sincerely a joke or a pointer to your personal life concerning the three involved. Nevertheless, let us with the Psalmist say:  Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O . , hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If thou, YAH, shouldest mark iniquities, O , who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. I wait for , my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Let Israel hope in : for with there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities Ps. 130: 1-8.

Finally, do we still have sincere virgins, who are already in relationship with people especially those from the ages of 15 and above? Let us think about that. May God have mercy us, Amen.

12: 12: 12 - today is Wednesday with a difference from the date, month and year. Indeed this brings out the biblical meaning of the number 12 which is GOVERNMENTAL PERFECTION. Philologically and etymologically, from the Old French government (French gouvernement), from Latin gubernatio “management, government”, from Ancient Greek κυβερνισμός (kubernismos), κυβέρνησις (kubernēsis, “steering, pilotage, guiding”), from κυβερνάω, kubernaō, “I steer, drive, guide, pilot”+ -ment.  Therefore, Government is derived from the Latin verb, guverno, guvernare meaning “To control” and Latin noun Mens, mentis meaning “Mind” therefore, government means “To control the mind”. From Matt 5:48 Jesus told His disciples "Be ye perfect", in this case, "perfect" to us today sounds like absolute perfection, but the Greek word here is "teleios". "Teleios" means mature or complete. In another way, our sinless position "in Christ", is "absolutely perfect", but our experience here on earth is one of growing in grace towards "maturity" that is teleios, but from the Hebrew word tammam its meaning in relation is to the English word perfect. Therefore, on this special and extraordinary Wednesday, date, month and year 12: 12: 12, and with our human relationship as Christians, we ponder over our maturity, our way to steering, of driving, of guiding, of piloting and above all of controlling our minds. It is on this ambient that we are all expected to be governors and owners of our actions especially those coming from our minds. To be perfect then is a continuous journey towards heaven, hence avoiding sin and controlling our concupiscence as seen in 1 Jn. 2:16-17, when this is done we may properly say that we are in line with the biblical meaning of the number 12 which appeared specially today 12:12:12. This number will appear again by 100 hundred years coming in 2112, that is 12^th December 2112. Where shall we be by then? Who amongst us now will be alive to say something about today? Only those born today 12: 12: 12 but the privileged few who will be 100 years as from today (12:12:2012 to 12:12:2112). Therefore, let us govern perfectly our individual selves and prepare for the beatific vision which Scripture said: Esotote vos perfecti sicut et Pater vester caelestis perfectus est – Be you perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect Matt.5:48. The liturgical significance and spirituality of names brings out the Faith we ought to have in God. Therefore, from John (God is compassionate or Merciful) to Benedict (God’s blessings to His people), we see the Year of the Faith as a period of deep meditation over our spiritual relationship with God anchored on hope, trust and confidence which are rooted in Faith as a supernatural gift. Ipso facto, the Year of faith is seen as follows:

Y – YOU needed a personal and sincere faith to believe in the Trinity.

E – EXPRESSION of faith is ever practical and concrete in our daily lives.

A – ACCEPTANCE of our Christian duties in season and out of season helps us grow in faith.

R – REDEMPTION is what we all expect of faith in God.

O – OFFERING to God our humble sacrifices is very essential as a means of faith-expression.

F – FOLLOWING our right conscience makes us grow in morality as to face whatever that comes to us.

F – FAITH leads us to unity of sacrifice evident in the Holy sacrifice of the Cross.

A – ABANDONMENT of anything whatsoever for the greater glory of God is faith quantified and qualified.

I – INSISTENT on the Truth which is ontologically Christ pushes us higher in sanctity of life.

T – TRUTH that is not based on faith is always strange in moral and spiritual life.

H – HOLINESS of life is the summary of our reason for the year of faith.

14^O ANNIVERSARIO SACERDOTALE DI DON ALESSIO ALASIA

Con riferimento al numero quattordici nella bibbia, meditiamo sul suo significato biblico, cioè SALVEZZA e LIBERAZIONE. Nel giorno della memoria dei SS Cosma e Damiano: 26 settembre 1998, quattrodici anni fa, don Alessio è stato configurato misteriosamente con Cristo come sacerdote. Il sacerdote deve essere portatore di salvezza e di liberazione attraverso la sua vita sacerdotale. Gesù dal pretorio al calvario (Golgotha) durante la Via Crucis annunciò questa salvezza e liberazione a tutta l’umanità. Questo annuncio, don Alessio da quattordici anni lo fa conoscere ogni giorno,  riflettiamo questi passaggi delle quattordici stazioni della Via Crucis associati alla vita sacerdotale di don Alessio.

PRIMA STAZIONE Gesù è condannato a morte dal Vangelo secondo Marco. 15, 10-19

Come Cristo hai trovato  che la gente ti stava condannato pubblicamente o privatamente? Come hai accettato questo  per la salvezza e liberazione di tutti? O Dio, Padre nostro, effondi sempre più largamente sul tuo sacerdote Alessio i benefici della tua redenzione e donargli di condividere la passione di Cristo per aver parte, un giorno, alla sua gloria di vincitore risorto. Egli vive e regna nei secoli dei secoli. Amen.

SECONDA STAZIONE Gesù è caricato della Croce  dal Vangelo secondo Giovanni 19, 12-16

Come Cristo nella tua vita sacerdotale quante volte hai portato la tua croce con gioia senza mormorazione ? O Dio, dona a don Alessio il tuo spirito di carità e di pace così l'offerta della sua vita, compiuta da Cristo a salvezza del mondo, si prolunghi nella memoria e nell'amore fraterno dei tuoi figli. Per Cristo nostro Signore. Amen.

TERZA STAZIONE Gesù cade per la prima volta dal libro del profeta Isaia. 53, 4-8

Nella tua debolezza umana, quando fai uno sbaglio fai tesoro della prima caduta di Gesù, sulla via della Calvario?. Guarda sul tuo sacerdote Alessio, Dio onnipotente l'umanità sfinita per la sua debolezza mortale e fa che riprenda vita per la passione del tuo unico Figlio. Egli vive e regna per i secoli eterni. Amen.

QUARTA STAZIONE Gesù incontra sua Madre dal Vangelo secondo Luca. 2, 34-35. 51

Don Alessio, la presenza della Madonna nella vita sacerdotale è necessaria per dare conforto e consolazione quando sentiamo i dolori del nostro ministero. O Signore nel devoto ricordo della Beata Vergine Maria, data a don Alessio come madre dolcissima presso la croce di Gesù tuo Figlio, aiutalo a completare per la, Santa Chiesa, ciò che manca alla passione di Cristo tuo Figlio. Egli vive e regna per i secoli eterni. Amen.

QUINTA STAZIONE Gesù è aiutato dal Cireneo a portare la Croce dal Vangelo secondo Marco. 15, 21-22

Don Alessio, la tua vita sacerdotale è un modo di  aiutare  il popolo di Dio con disponibilità per il bene della chiesa. Scenda su don Alessio largamente, o Dio, la tua benedizione; nei misteri della passione redentrice, dona a lui di aprire il cuore alla salvezza conquistata da Cristo, nostro Signore e nostro Dio. Egli vive e regna per i secoli eterni. Amen.

SESTA STAZIONE La Veronica asciuga il volto di Gesù dal libro del profeta Isaia. 53, 2-3

Il volto di Gesù è stato  impresso perché la Veronica lo ha asciugato, la tua vita don Alessio sia un mezzo per asciugare il volto di tanti emarginati e oppressi. O Dio, tra le opere più mirabili è la rigenerazione dell'uomo; renda vana l'azione del tentatore e spezza le catene mortali del peccato perché sia distrutta l'invidia e vinca l'amore che salva attraverso il ministero di don Alessio. Per Cristo nostro Signore.

SETTIMA STAZIONE Gesù cade per la seconda volta dal libro delle Lamentazioni. 3, 1-2. 9. 16

Don Alessio, “perchè sette volte il giusto cade e si rialza, invece gli empi piombano nella sventura.” Proverbi 24,16 queste parole ti allontanino dalla tentazione nel mondo. O Misericordioso ed eterno Iddio, che hai dato come modello agli uomini il Cristo tuo Figlio, nostro Salvatore, fatto uomo e umiliato fino alla morte di croce, fa' che abbiamo sempre presente l'insegnamento della sua passione per partecipare alla gloria della risurrezione. Egli vive e regna per i secoli eterni. Amen.

OTTAVA STAZIONE Gesù incontra le donne di Gerusalemme dal Vangelo secondo Luca. 23, 28-31

Don Alessio ogni giorno ti incontri  con tante persone che  piangono per i loro problemi, come Cristo da  loro la parola di sollievo perchè siano confortati. Signore, non chiudere la porta anche se don Alessio fa tardi. Non chiudere la porta: perché lui è venuto a bussare. A chi ti cerca nel pianto apri, Signore pietoso. Tu che vivi e regni nei secoli eterni. Amen.

NONA STAZIONE Gesù cade per la terza volta dal libro delle Lamentazioni. 3, 27-32

Don Alessio, ricorda che la vita sacerdotale è fatta di sacrifici e grande lotta, con questa chiede sempre la misericordia di Dio se hai sbagliato quale ora. Dio ricco di misericordia, dona a don Alessio la salvezza operata dalla passione redentrice e infrangi per il tuo amore infinito i vincoli dell'antica condanna per le ricadute continuamente a causa della nostra fragilità.   Per Cristo nostro Signore. Amen.

DECIMA STAZIONE Gesù è spogliato delle vesti dal Vangelo secondo Marco. 15, 24

Oggi la nudità è  ovunque ed è una grande tentazione e distrazione nihil est intellectum non quod primus fuerit in sunsum , per questo Gesù si è arrabbiato nella Sua spogliazione delle vesti. O Dio, che hai redento l'uomo con il sangue prezioso del tuo Figlio unigenito, a quelli che adorano la croce, concedi la liberazione dal peccato e la vita eterna che dalla stessa croce è per noi scaturita. Per Cristo nostro Signore. Amen.

UNDICESIMA STAZIONE Gesù è inchiodato sulla Croce dal Vangelo secondo

Marco. 15, 25-27

L’ insistenza a fare peccati è un grosso chiodo inflitto a Gesù, per la tua disponibilità don Alessio verso la  gente peccatrice sarà cancellato loro ogni peccato attraverso il Sacramento di Riconciliazione. O Salvatore, sacerdote tu sei divenuto vittima; Redentore nostro ti sei fatto nostro prezzo: custodisci da tutti i mali coloro che tu hai redento. Tu che vivi e regni per i secoli eterni. Amen

DODICESIMA STAZIONE Gesù muore sulla Croce dal Vangelo secondo Marco. 15, 33- 34.37.39
Ecco il grande sacrificio la morte di Gesù sulla croce per ognuno di noi, don Alessio, di’ incessantemente alla gente l’ importanza di questo mistero nella nostra vita come cristiani. O Padre, che ci hai ridato la vita eterna nella pasqua del tuo Unigenito venuto a farsi condannare per nostro amore, rivolgi a lui i nostri cuori e la nostra vita perché sia mite con noi quando ci verrà a giudicare e ci unisca alla sua gloria di Salvatore risorto. Egli vive e regna per i secoli eterni. Amen.
TREDICESIMA STAZIONE Gesù è deposto dalla Croce dal Vangelo secondo Marco. 15, 42-43. 46

Nel silenzio tombale si trova una profonda meditazione che aiuta ognuno di noi nella vita sacerdotale, come il compimento di una preghiera ben fatta, don Alessio. Signore, che per la morte del tuo Figlio ci fai sperare nei beni in cui crediamo, fa' che per la sua risurrezione possiamo giungere alla meta della nostra speranza. Per Cristo nostro Signore. Amen.

QUATTORDICESIMA STAZIONE Gesù è deposto nel sepolcro dal Vangelo secondo Marco. 15, 46-47

Siamo salvati perché Gesù ha donato la Sua vita per tutti, la vita sacerdotale don Alessio una forma di basamento, “Ma annichilì se stesso prendendo la natura di servo, diventando simile agli uomini; e apparso in forma umana, si umiliò facendosi obbediente fino alla morte e alla morte in croce.” Filippesi 2, 7-8. Scenda, Signore, la tua benedizione su noi che abbiamo commemorato la morte del tuo Figlio nella speranza di risorgere con lui; venga il perdono e la consolazione, si accresca la fede, si rafforzi la certezza nella redenzione eterna. Ogni giorno noi celebriamo la presenza e “compleanno” di Dio in noi. L’essere umano è tale per il soffio di Dio. L'essere, fatto da Dio in un particolare momento che richiama la nostra nascita e storia . Dio è un “Eterno-ora”. Egli è “TERMINS A QUO” e “TERMINUS AD QUEM”.  La Sua “immagine” ha un inizio nella creatura. Tale è la sua storia in Te, DON MAURIZIO con la tua nascita. In Lui ogni creatura ha un'esistenza. Un'esistenza che è registrata come storia, perciò, la storia è rintracciabile.

Guardando la storia, io desidero richiamare un compleanno. Un momento cominciò come un secondo. Secondi  sviluppati come minuti. Minuti maturati in ore nel tempo specifico. Le ore si laurearono in giorni. I giorni metamorfosati in settimane. Settimane trasformate in mesi, i mesi costituiscono l'anno.

Compleanno , un tempo per ricordare e riflettere sul cosa hai fatto  nei confronti del dovere davanti a Dio. È un tempo per promettere a Dio la tua fiducia totale in Lui. È un tempo per chiedere a Dio più aiuto per la vita. Compleanno richiama alla mente la realtà della vita. Con questa realtà io ti dico:

N – NATION blessed with extraordinary gifts of humans and natural endowments.

I – INGENUIETY is a super-abundant in Nigeria.

G – GOD is ever present in our country.

E – EXCELLENCE has been intrinsic in us but we are misdirecting it.

R – ROYALTY is part of our nation.

I – INDOMITABLE characters are easily seen in us whenever and wherever we meet with other nations.

A – ADAPTABILITY is very much common to every Nigerian at all times and everywhere in the world.

Therefore, on this Monday 1^st October 2012 when we commemorate our 52^nd Independence let us reflect on the word thus:

I – INDEPENDENT of and from God brings about blurred and blink nation.

N – NOTHING about probity of the nation worries very many people, hence we are still colonized in reality with intransigence.

D – DETERMINING to move forward sincerely will certainly transform the nation for better.

E – EMANCIPATION from self-centeredness will raise higher the entire nation.

P – POWER syncretism will ever clamp down the nation’s growth.

E – ESCHEWING corruption from all sectors will make the nation quite exemplary.

N – NOBODY should and ought to be above the law, in this way the nation will record sincerity.

D – DUTY consciousness in all levels will bring the nation unto reasonable height of excellence.

E – EMULATING good conducts from progressing nations will make us truly independent.

N – NATIVISM is a cankerworm to progress of any nation.
